A cobra was hooked out of a well in Ghoradongri, Madhya Pradesh.

Footage from September 25 shows a rescuer named Bhim Sahu using a tool to pluck the serpent out of the water to bring it back to the surface.

The cobra was then boxed up and released back into the wild.

In a horrific event in central India's Madhya Pradesh, a cobra snake fell into a well on September 25. The incident took place in the Pahadpur village of Ghoradongri tehsil.

Visuals feature the snake lying in the well with its well raised. The snake rescuer tries to take it out with a rod-like structure and effectively does so. People view in horror as the snake is then put into a box for safety to be released into the forest.

The villagers had come to fill the water in the well when they noticed the snake. The locals got scared and stopped drawing water from the well.
Subsequently, serpent expert, Bhim Sahu was informed and on receiving the information, he reached the spot and started rescuing the snake.

He successfully pulled out the cobra safely from the well after which it was released into the wild. Given the Cobras' extremely poisonous nature, the villagers were extremely afraid of it. If the snake wasn't rescued on time, the villagers would have killed it.
