A dog that spent two days stranded in a well was rescued in Udupi, Karnataka.

Visuals from September 28 show a firefighter being lowered down into the watery pit to grab the canine.

He manages to grab the dog and the duo are hauled back to the surface.

An unsuspecting dog fell into a well and got stranded for two days in southern India's Karnataka on September 28. The incident took place in Ambalpadi, located in Udupi town.

Visuals feature the dog struggling to stay afloat inside the well. Following this, much to the canine's relief, a team of rescuers arrive at the spot and dive into action. One of the men lowers into the well using ropes, following which he grabs the dog and brings him safely to land.

The dog fell into the well and remained stranded for two days. Following this, the fire department personnel from Udupi arrived at the spot upon being alerted and safely rescued the visibly exhausted canine.
