A huge fire caused by firecrackers burnt a tree and a parked car in a residential community in eastern China.

CCTV footage captured in the city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province on September 26 shows firecrackers being lit next to a row of parked cars as a woman celebrated buying a new vehicle.

However, the sparks lit a nearby tree and burnt it down. The woman was seen driving her new Audi SUV away from the place.

Since she could not contact the owners of other cars, one car was damaged.

Nearby residents used extinguishers to put out the fire before the firefighters arrived.

Fortunately, no one was injured. The woman and the car owner will settle the matter in private.

9月26日下午1时19分，温州洞头区消防救援大队分指挥中心接到报警称：北岙街道一小区内一车辆着火。北岙消防救援站立即调集力量赶赴现场救援，消防救援人员发现，起火原因竟然是有人为庆祝买新车放了鞭炮。
参与处置的消防救援人员介绍，他们到达现场后，看到一棵树被烧焦，树旁一辆别克牌汽车也被烧毁，但没有发现明火。



“我们了解到，火已被周围几名热心群众用灭火器扑灭了，我们就对事故车辆和树木进行了降温处理。”消防救援人员称，他们经现场询问得知，火情起因有些特殊，一名女市民为庆祝自己购买了新车，就放鞭炮庆祝，没想到鞭炮的火星引燃了旁边的树木。



他表示，那名女市民第一时间把自己的新车（奥迪SUV）开走了，可是现场还停着其他社会车辆，女市民一时也没办法联系到其他车主只能干着急。
那名女市民告诉消防救援人员，她看到树木的火越烧越大，甚至蔓延到树旁的别克车上时，心里非常懊悔。所幸危急关头，周边群众施以援手，没有让火情损害更多车辆。
消防救援人员介绍，这起火情没有造成人员伤亡，涉事女市民与别克车主选择了私了。（视频由温州台提供）
