This is the moment Insulate Britain protestors were detailed by police after their M25 stand off.

More than 50 people who were arrested following the incident at Junction 14 on M25 yesterday morning (27) have now (28) been released under investigation.

A video shows police pulling protestors out of the road where they had halted traffic.

Two police officers can be seen carrying one female protestor in the air by her arms from the road onto the grassy side with her legs completely off the ground.

A police officer can be seen discarding a massive banner that the protestors had carried as other officers try to keep the arrested activists out of the road.

One police officer wrestles with a protestor who refused to get up from where he sat on the rainy road with a car narrowly missing the pair as they fought.

The arrests yesterday came as activists from Insulate Britain - an offshoot from Extinction Rebellion - blocked the M25 for the sixth time in two weeks.

In an open Letter to Home Secretary Priti Patel, Insulate Britain said fear of arrests did not deter them from carrying out their campaign, saying: "We are more fearful of the loss of our country than we are of you.

“You can throw as many injunctions at us as you like, but we are going nowhere.

“You can raid our savings. You can confiscate our property. You can deny us our liberty and put us behind bars.

“But shooting the messenger can never destroy the message: that this country is going to hell unless you take emergency action to stop putting carbon into the air.”

Following their arrest yesterday morning [27], the protestors have now been released but police continue their investigations.
