Caring man rescues distressed kitten from sluice gates in Bangkok
This is the moment a kindhearted Bangkok man rescued a trapped kitten from a canal.
Video filmed on September 23 shows the man, who is holding onto a fence one-handed, scooping up the kitten with a long-handled dustpan from what appear to be a canal's sluice gates in the city's eastern Lat Krabang area.
It takes several moments before the man is able to scoop up the kitten, who can be heard screeching.
Eventually, the Good Samaritan manages to rescue the kitten in his dustpan and passes it to a boy, who safely grabs it.
