A woman's life began to cripple in front of her eyes after she almost fell beneath a moving train in western India's Maharashtra on September 29. The incident took place at Kalyan Railway Station.

CCTV footage features the passenger attempting to deboard the moving locomotive, following which she tries to hop out of the compartment after tossing her bag outside. Unfortunately, she loses balance and slides down in the gap between the train and the platform, posing a threat to life as she gets dragged along the coach. Luckily, an alert railway cop rushes and pulls the passenger to safety to avoid any tragedy.

In a life-saving act, the on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable, identified as Mangesh Dhere, showed vigilance and rescued the 62-year-old citizen, identified as Aruna Rekha, who got dragged along the moving compartment while deboarding it at the railway station as she accidentally got on the wrong train. Later, the RPF personnel took care of her and made her board the correct locomotive to avoid tragedy.
