Local restaurants and cafes in the town of Los Llanos in Spain have resumed serving customers despite sand raining down from the tree leaves.

The cleanup crews are seen picking up black sand from the streets thrown from the Cumbre Vieja volcano which has been erupting for 14 days.

Authorities advised to limit time spent outdoors as the volcano continues to spew red-hot lava and thick clouds of black smoke.

On Saturday 2 October some local restaurants and cafe’s in the town of Los Llanos try to continue serving loyal local customers despite sand raining down from the tree leaves while the street cleanup crews and evacuee volunteers clean the streets which looks just like the beach: full of dark black sands thrown from the Cumbre Vieja volcano which has been erupting for 14 days already since Around 15:15 (or 13:13 geological time) on Sunday the 19th September 2020. Los llanos is the largest town on the all year sunny west side of the picturesque island of La Palma with a population of around 80,000 people and 300,000 visitors prior to Covid restrictions were out in place against businesses.
