An RAF Spitfire which shot down a number of enemy aircraft during WW2 cruises above the on location filming of the seventh in the series of Mission Impossible movies. The two-seater Spitfire based at the former RAF Duxford, fighter station today takes joy riding passengers for the thrill of their life above the blue skies which the Spitfire defended against the Luftwaffe. Below can be seen the film crews and two of three Boeing Steerman bi-planes which are being flown by stuntmen for the aerial scenes. It is not know whether film star Tom Cruise actually flew one of the Steerman, but he certainly took a ride in them during the filming.
