The opening of the XX Papua PON 2021 was enlivened with dozens of dancers accompanied by the words "Welcome Papua". Countdown video playing with birds of paradise. The video captures the beauty and natural charm of Papua, including Lake Sentani, Arthur Monument, a Megalithic site. There are also Papuan handicrafts and dishes, such as papeda with yellow gravy. Lukas Enembe Stadium is a witness to the history of this grand event. The event at the location was also enlivened by the display of state celebrities and a spectacular accompaniment of fireworks.
