COVID lockdown turns into CORVID hell as brazen magpies steal Aussie mum's lunch
A mother from the Canberra area of Australia was irritated today (October 6) when brazen magpies dropped in and stole her lunch.
Jodie Jayatilaka stepped outside to get a breather from her large family who are in the middle of a COVID-19 lockdown and enjoy her lunch when the birds moved in.
"I tried to find a quiet place for my lunch to recharge and these two magpies dropped by and very persistently tried to take MY lunch for their young ones," said Jayatilaka.
"I was a little irritated at their boldness," she added.
