Exotic bird thief caught in the act by home CCTV in Jakarta, Indonesia
A thief was caught in the act of stealing an exotic bird from a home in Jakarta, Indonesia, by the home's CCTV.
The crook stole a Murai Batu bird, also called a White-Rumped Shama, from a bird cage in a residence in the Billymoon Complex, Pondok Kelapa in the east of the city,
The incident occurred on Saturday 9 October at 6:10am local time.
The bird is believed to be worth 40m rupiah -- about 2,800 US dollars.
