A group of young locals managed to catch a 10-foot-long python before handing it over to officials in Erode, Tamil Nadu.

Footage from October 8 shows the group posing with the large snake they had captured.

Once the python was handed over to forest officials, it was then released back into the wild.

Location : Ammampettai area of Erode District Tamilnadu State South India.

Youth of the village was returning back to their village from the work place. The village is located near forest area. Since there is no proper street lights on that area they were using torch lights and walking towards the village.

Suddenly they found something creepy. They moved close the creature and flashed the torch light.

To their surprise they found a big python that was 10 feet long and they caught it instantly.

They informed the forest staffs. They rushed to the spot and the youngsters handed over the python to the forest department staffs. It was later left in the deep woods.
