Six locals injured after live power cable falls on them in eastern India
An 11 thousand kV wire fell on six locals and scorched them in eastern India's Jharkhand state on October 7.
The incident took place in Urmila Tower Bank More, Dhanbad, as footage shows locals and commuters standing on the roadside beneath some powerlines.
The light pole can then be seen igniting with a bright light and sparks flying as the cables touched the ground, causing a group of pedestrians fall on the ground as panic ensues among onlookers.
The incident caused a stampede, with locals rushing the victims to the nearby hospital for treatment. Moreover, further investigation into the matter is underway.
