This herd of orphaned and rescued elephants were spotted enjoying a relaxing mud bath in Mopani, South Africa.

Visuals from August 31 show the animals spraying themselves with mud in order to protect their skin from the sun's rays.

This herd, called the Jabulani, consist of rescued elephants and now spend their days out in the wilderness with their careers.

The Jabulani herd of elephants consists predominantly of orphaned and rescued elephants who now spend their days out in the wilderness with their carers, who ensure that they are safe. This unique herd of elephants accepts orphans that are not related by blood and accepts them as family.
