A man caught a 5-year-old who fell from the third floor of a building in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Shangrao in Jiangxi Province on October 9 shows an elderly man bracing himself as he spotted the 5-year-old boy who was about to fall from the third floor of a building in an industrial park.

A man named Li Wenjun spotted the incident and ran into the industrial park quickly to help catch the boy.

According to reports, the third floor of the building is a closed hotel and the boy was playing there.

Li's head was hit the boy and his nose was broken. Li had eight stitches to close the wound on his head in hospital.

Fortunately, the boy only suffered minor injuries.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
