This footage was filmed and produced 11 October 2021.

Bolivia's opposition blocked streets in the country's main cities on Monday in protest against the government of President Luis Arce, whom they accuse of "political persecution."

Protesters blocked 36 points in the city of Cochabamba. One of the strongest points was on Avenida Blanco Galindo and Avenida Perú. At this point the police used chemical agents to push back the protesters, many of them were young and elderly women. The protesters made a peaceful resistance by sitting or lying on the asphalt. Gradually the police enabled free vehicular traffic at said blockade point.
