An amusing video has emerged of a cat facing off against a monkey on a windowsill in Gibraltar.

In the footage, captured by the cat’s owner late last month, the monkey can be seen sitting on the outside of a window staring in at the unhappy cat and a dog.

“I walked in to find the cat screaming at a monkey, which was outside the bedroom window. The monkey really couldn't care less but this didn't stop her,” the filmer later wrote online.

The Barbary Macaque population in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar is the only wild monkey population in the European continent.
