Hurricane Pamela made a landfall in Mexico damaging buildings and disrupting power supply to nearly 200,000 households across several states in the country, the Mexico's Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) said on Thursday.

Local authorities in the state of Nayarit issued a flood warning due to a sharp increase in water runoff in the San Pedro and Acaponeta rivers. Evacuations of people from at-risk zone continue.
