Footage shows a traffic policeman directing cars while wearing a Squid Game costume.

The officer was seen dressed in the red suit from the hit Netflix show on the busy road in Baguio City, the Philippines on October 3.

Passerby Sunnie Villamil Dayao said the cop captured her attention when he was dancing.

Sunnie said: ‘I saw some shoppers gathered and I found him dancing and all of us were entertained and he even helped with traffic in the area, not sure if he’s a traffic enforcer or not but he was there all day.’

The South Korean Netflix drama Squid Game tells the story of hundreds of participants struggling with debt who compete in a series of children’s games with a gruesome twist to win the final 45.6 billion won (38.7 million USD) prize.

The series was released on September 17 and received an overwhelming response from viewers worldwide but it has also been criticised for showing violence and gore.
