This is the chaotic moment a wild snake sparked panic after slithering through a car showroom

The reptile emerged from the wilderness and raced across the shiny white tiles inside the building in Pathum Thani province, central Thailand, on October 8.

Salesman Sompong Jaion and his colleague were standing inside when they noticed the ferocious green serpent.

Hilarious footage shows how one of the employees slipped and fell on her knees while she was chasing the beast with a mop.

Some of the shocked staff attempted to scare away the creature with chairs while others laughed as they recorded it on their smartphones.

The creature, a golden tree snake harmless to humans, was eventually pushed out of the door without it biting anybody.

Sompong said: ‘Everybody was trying to smash the snake but it was too fast. It moved towards so many people but it didn’t bite anyone/

‘My colleague fell on the floor while trying to push the snake out, luckily she only had a bruise on her left knee.’
