Lightning strikes Leeds Civic Hall but all is not as it seems

Buy video

Bolts of lightning struck the civic hall in Leeds City Centre on a clear evening yesterday (15th October)
Showers of sparks and lightning bolts cascaded on the landmark on Millennium Square. Thankfully no damage to the victorian structure or injury to life occurred, as this was all part of a spectacular laser show set up for 'Light Night' and was created by digital artist Seb Lee-Delisle of Seb Lee Productions. The laser show called 'Lightening Catchers' where throughout Light Night the Civic Hall will be at the mercy of nature, being regularly hit by bolts of lightning. Harness the power of nature by capturing this laser projected lighting with a custom- built lightning rod filled with super bright LEDS. If you catch a bolt your rod will explode with light and sound! Fun and safe for all the family.
