Left-wing protestors marched through Kreuzberg, Berlin, on late on Friday night (October 15) to express their anger at the eviction of the Köpi-Platz autonomous project.

Around 50 people were living on the site, mainly in caravans, which has a long and important history in Berlin. The space has been occupied since 1990, making it one of Berlin's oldest squats. Protestors set off fireworks and flares and there were reports of vandalised cars and buildings.

Video shows clashes between protestors and police.
