Meet Daisy - a gifted four-year-old who learned to unicycle over lockdown.

Daisy Adams, four, lives in Bristol with mum Helen and learned to ride a bike when she was just two years old - and started BMXing at three.

Now she is teaching herself to ride a unicycle and thousands are following her progress at @pint_size_cyclist.

Helen, 34, said: “Daisy practices and rides about 4-5 times a week. She rides mtb, BMX, unicycles and even inside on her rollers.

“We are amazingly proud of Daisy but most of all it makes us happy that she found something that makes her smile so much.

"Other people are always amazed as she not only very young but she’s very small, only 97 centimetres at four.

“The unicycling started in May and she built up confidence and was very quickly to one hand but letting go and being solo took her some time.

“She was doing short transfers between things at three and by the time she turned four it had clicked, Daisy’s perseverance and determination won, and she is so proud.

“She says it’s the hardest thing she’s ever done but that she is really proud.”
