A leopard cub was spotted at a nature preserve in South Africa recently tucking into a dead antelope.

A video filmed on October 15 by Anchia Van Zyl Harmse at Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park shows the cute wild cat feasting on the gemsbok its mother had caught two days earlier.

"The female leopard and two of her cubs spent around 4 days around the gemsbok carcass," said Van Zyl Harmse.

"Then a male lion snatched the carcass and attacked the leopard cubs," she added.

"A day later only one cub was spotted with the female," she said.
