According to local people, heavy rain for many days was the cause of the terrible flash flood. They heard a loud sound coming from the mountains and a few minutes later a terrible stream of water came back. Flood currents damage the bridge. destroyed the road leading to the bridge and caused a complete landslide of the surrounding mountain area.
Floods have affected tens of thousands of homes in the central region. There have been 6 people dead and missing, dozens of people injured. Many areas are isolated. Traffic is affected by floodwaters and landslides.
