Nursing student booked for theft from medicine shop in central India

A student of nursing, Aman Bhorse, has been booked for theft and extortion of money and medicines from a medical shop that he worked part-time for in central India's Madhya Pradesh. Visuals shot on October 17 feature the accused while the incident took place in Betul.

CCTV footage shows the boy sneakily taking out money from the cash counter whenever the shop is empty. He looks around to confirm that no one is present there and then goes on to sneak medicines and money out.

Bhorse had been working in medical operator Abdul Sharif's shop for four months now. Having belief in the boy, they used to leave the shop in the care of him and step out.

That is when he used to take out Indian rupee notes medicines, sanitary pads, and chocolates, some of which he used to give to his girlfriend. Sharif and his brother began suspecting that something was wrong in the shop.

On thoroughly checking the CCTV footage, it was found that he had been doing that do some time now and has to date, extorted around Rs 50,000 (USD 663) along with other things.

A police case has been registered against him and Aman Bhorse has been arrested. He has accepted his crime and is now in police custody.
