Police official performs yoga in water in central India
A police official, identified as Bhagwan Das, astonished the locals by performing yoga on the surface of water in central India's Madhya Pradesh on October 18. The incident took place in Damoh.
Visuals feature Das floating in the middle of a water body. With his hands joined, his body remains submerged underwater while his head remains above it. He makes no movements and silently meditates as the onlookers chant religious hymns around him. Das doesn't drown or flinch for a second and skillfully performs yoga inside the well, gripping the spectators with amusement.
Apart from his police duties, Das has devoted his time to water yoga and has been practicing the art daily for the last 10 years. Moreover, he has also created a record for performing yoga on the surface of the water for two hours straight.
Apart from that, he has saved the lives of at least five people while on-duty and received a bravery award for the same from the Madhya Pradesh government.
