Fire comes out instead of water during borewell digging in central India

In a horrifying incident, fire began spewing out from a borewell digging site was being dug in central India's Madhya Pradesh on October 18.

The incident took place in the Gunnor region of Panna district, as footage shows bright orange flames rising from the dig site while people move away for their safety.

Reportedly a borewell was being dug with government funds to extract drinking water for a secondary school. However, after digging about 50 feet by the boring machine, the fire began coming out instead of water.

The locals immediately informed the Gunnor police and administration, and the fire brigade reached the spot as soon as the information was received. After several hours of effort, the fire was brought under control.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the event, and a probe has been launched to identify the cause of the bizarre accident.
