A group of tourists was amazed to spot a large herd of mountain goats, or ibex, crossing a road in a national park in northern Pakistan.

Haseen Iftikhar was filming in Khunjerab National Park when the wild animals raced across a snowy field and over the road.

"I am a tour operator and this happened during one of my tours to Khunjerab," Iftikhar said.

"The moment we saw the herd, we stopped our vehicle to enjoy this amazing view. The ibex were about 200 in number. I can't express my feelings in words, it was just amazing," he added.

The rare sighting was caught on camera back in 2019.

Haseeb Iftikhar recorded this epic scene featuring the wild goats racing down a mountain to cross a road.

Haseeb further stated that even though he had been to Khunjerab around 90 times before, this was the first time he got to witness such a marvelous sight.
