Little Amal, the refugee puppet, was paraded through the streets of Canterbury, Kent, on October 21 as it entered the final stretch of its 8,000-kilometre journey.

The 3.5-metre-tall marionette was seen walking from Canterbury Cathedral to the University of Kent as crowds watched on.

The puppet was joined by a vivid orange fox puppet from Westgate Towers created by University of Kent students.

Little Amal represents a Syrian refugee and has been carried through Greece, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium.

'Little Amal' is a giant puppet at the heart of The Walk an art project involving a walk across Europe of 8,000km in support of refugees.

Little Amal was seen walking from Canterbury Cathedral to the University of Kent this afternoon to huge crowds, with music provided by samba drummers.
