A giant snake accidentally slithered its way into a village and got caught in central India on October 21.

The incident took place in Amthanoo village in Madhya Pradesh. Footage of the rescue shows the snake wranglers having caught the 15-foot-snake after it had recently eaten.

The enormous serpent was moved to the backside of a pickup vehicle to be treated by a vet and eventually released away from civilization.

Reportedly the python strayed into a farm in search of food, however after being discovered by locals, the Forest Department was alerted and rescued it after an hour-long struggle.

The snake has since been released in the forest of Tendu Kheda.

Visuals feature the rescuers spotting the giant snake in broad daylight after it devours an animal. After a while, they capture the enormous serpent and confine it on the backside of the pickup vehicle to tend to it and release it back into its natural habitat to avoid any tragedy.

The 15-foot-long python approached the civilization and strayed itself into a farm in search of food. However, the Forest Department was alerted, following which they rushed to the spot and rescued the creature after an hour of struggle. Nevertheless, the serpent has been released in the forest of Tendu Kheda to avert any mishap.
