Large new tower block almost complete in Bangkok, Thailand
The new office block on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 6 in Bangkok, Thailand, is almost finished. Completion date is due for December.
There’ll also be a walkway from BTS Nana to a restaurant court inside the new building, which is called O-Nes Tower and has been developed by the Thai Obayashi company, the same firm who built the IconSiam shopping mall.
The building will only have offices catering towards medium and large companies.
Such developments show the urbanisation and gentrification of Bangkok as it develops rapidly into one of leading economies of Southeast Asia. Development of the Sukhumvit Road area, in particular, has been likened to that of Singapore.
