Panic ensues among locals after spotting cobra in central India
Horror gripped the onlookers upon spotting a cobra in their proximity in central India's Madhya Pradesh on October 21. The incident took place in Sagar.
Visuals feature the snake hiding amid some wooden logs. Following this, its rescuer arrives at the spot and swings into action. He uses a stick-like object to poke the cobra out of its hiding, following which he grabs it and carries the reptile to safety.
The locals alerted serpent expert Asad Khan upon spotting the cobra, who rescued it after a 30-minutes-long operation. Khan identified the 5-foot-long snake as venomous and later released it into its natural habitat.
