Floods in Quang Nam, central Vietnam, have forced locals to navigate through submerged streets on rafts.

Footage from October 24 shows the deep floodwater that has engulfed a town.

The floodwater has risen by almost 2 metres forcing residents to evacuate via boats.

According to locals, the prolonged heavy rain has flooded their area. The floodwaters quickly rose and their area was submerged.

Floodwaters rose nearly 2 meters, forcing them to move by boat out of danger.

In the video, people move by boat out of the area as floodwaters continue to flood into their homes, washing everything away.
Severe floods have caused severe damage to the central region of Vietnam. Thousands of houses were flooded.

Flash floods and landslides have occurred in the high mountain area, causing dozens of houses to be destroyed. The transportation system was destroyed making vehicles unable to move.
