Liverpool super-fan marks victory over Man Utd with ‘0-5’ billboard for his pick-up truck
A Liverpool fan made a giant billboard for the side of his pick-up truck to mark the team’s victory over Manchester United on Sunday.
Alongkorn Parati, 39, was delighted when the Merseyside team beat rivals Man Utd and printed the display featuring a dejected Cristiano Ronaldo alongside Mo Salah celebrating and the numbers ‘0-5’ to reflect the score.
The football fan now drives around his home town in Songklah, southern Thailand, with the antagonistic display.
He added: ‘There are Man United fans in the city but they don’t get angry. Everybody knows it is just fun. There are lots of Liverpool supporters and they like it.’
The loss added pressure to Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been criticised since taking the job for not being good enough to bring success back to the once-great club.
