Whale Shark Video
A video has emerged of a US teenager riding on the back of a whale shark off the coast of Destin, Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.
Cody Garland and his friends were fishing earlier this week when they spotted the huge whale shark.
Garland jumped into the water and held on to the whale shark's dorsal fin and was dragged along for several seconds.
Whale sharks are listed as a vulnerable species due to over exploitation and are among 25 protected shark species in Florida.
