Ecuador: Paro Nacional Protests – Protesters Rip Bank Signage In Quito
This video shows some protesters ripping the signage of Bank Guayaquil in Quito during the "paro nacional" protests.
Protests against the recent fuel price hikes and the conservative policies of President Guillermo Lasso erupted in Quito on October 26, some being led by indigenous communities.
Some demonstrators were prevented from reaching the presidential palace heavily fortified with metal fences and riot police blocking the streets leading to the building.
