'Hysterical footage has surfaced from Lincoln, RI, which shows how asking someone to "be quiet" can be a poor choice of words.

"My sister, Corinne, and brother-in-law, David went outside to take a work phone call, and they told me to be quiet, so I ran by unannounced dressed as a hot dog," Lauren Genereux wrote. "But hey! I was quiet and no rules were broken."

As shown in the video, Lauren's sister finds it really hard to contain her laughter. Dave, on the other hand, is pretty much unfazed.

The filmer further added: "My sister had to stifle her laugh and Dave is used to my nonsense. My security cameras caught the exchange and I had to share it."
