A man filmed the moment he found wild baby ducks in distress while he was walking on Seal Island in Southwestern Nova Scotia, Canada.

The ducks were trapped in an old and rusty lobster pot that had probably washed ashore in a storm.

He said "I saved one baby duck and it was uninjured but unfortunately the other had perished before I arrived."

"I removed the rest of the junk from the small pond and left the area so that the mother could return quickly." he added.

The rescued duck can be seen jumping in the water to finally join its mum.

I was enjoying the scenery on Seal Island, NS when I came across some wild baby ducks in a small pond that were in distress, they were caught in an old lobster pot that had washed ashore in a storm. I saved one baby duck and it was uninjured but unfortunately the other had perished before I arrived.
I removed the rest of the junk from the small pond and left the area so that the mother could return quickly (she had flown into the nearby ocean and was waiting for me to leave.)
