Faith Leaders of Nine Religions Gather for Prayer Vigil in Glasgow Ahead of United Nations CoP26 Climate Conference
Leaders of nine UK religions gathered in Glasgow’s George Square today in a united call for climate justice ahead of the United Nations COP26 climate conference, Glasgow, Scotland, 31 October 2021. Members of the Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Jewish, Buddhist, Baha’i, Pagan and Brahma Kumaris faiths in Scotland took turns in leading prayers for the heads of state and global climate negotiators arriving in the city for the key climate change conference.
