A 24-year-old man was arrested after brandishing a knife and lighting a fire on a train in Tokyo on Sunday night, October 31.

The incident occurred on a Keio Line train near Kokuryo Station in the western Tokyo city of Chofu at around 8:00 p.m.

17 people were injured including a 72-year-old passenger who was stabbed on the train.

This video posted on social media shows police detaining the suspect on the train after it made an emergency stop at Kokuryo Station.
