'Paro Nacional Protests (Ecuador) – Protesters take their anger out on a Bank '
'Disturbing footage emanating from Quito, Ecuador shows a scene from the "Paro Nacional" protests.
The video recorded by Nicolas Guerra features a bunch of protesters tearing off Bank Guayaquil's signage.
"I'll tell you right now, f*** all the bankers," the filmer commented. "The sign these protesters are destroying actually belongs to the bank owned by the Ecuadorian president, against whom we were protesting."
The violent demonstrations in the country stemmed from the rising fuel prices and the economic policies of President Guillermo Lasso.
