Road rage street fight - CHISLEHURST, LONDON

Buy video

I just left 'arts barbers' after getting a hair cut in Chislehurst village. I then went to the bus stop by the cross roads to go home. After about 5 minutes I noticed a few car horns going off in front of me as two cars tried to pull out at the same time. The second time the BMW owner attempted to pull out again but the Toyota owner reversed to stop him. This was when they both got out of there cars and I began recording.

I believe what caused it was when both cars were driving towards each other, the pickup truck coming from Chislehurst war memorial area and the BMW driver coming from the Chislehurst village. Look at it like a compass with west being the origin of the pickup truck and east being the origin of the BMW. They both wanted to turn to the south of the cross roads, but they turned at the same time both stopping. The BMW driver then tried to go around the pickup down the west road (the origin of the pickup), however the pickup driver decided to reverse and stop him doing so. They then got out of there cars and I started recording. The BMW driver was angry because of his kids being out at risk which he stated before I recorded.

I think it just shows you a classic example of road rage, and also how serious it can get over something so innocent.

I believe the police were not called for the incident but they probably would have been if it escalated even further.
