This hilarious video shows the moment the ‘fastest dad alive’ kept pace with a departing train to make his daughter and her boyfriend laugh.

Hannah Eyre and her Boyfriend Sam Ford where returning home after spending the weekend with her parents.

But as the train pulls away from Byfleet station in Surrey, Sam filmed his partner's dad Martin and wife Penny waving the couple away.

In an impressive show of speed Martin begins to chase after them and manages to keep up with the train.

Eventually the train pulls out and speeds up leaving Martin unable to continue, but the comedic moment has been immortalised on camera.

Sam, 22, said: “We were just saying goodbye after spending the weekend with them and were heading home to the Isle of Wight. The video is just of my partner's dad running after the train to make us laugh.

“He takes any opportunity to make us laugh. Me and my girlfriend were in stitches watching him chase the train and we expected him to trip over.

“What we took away from the experience is that Martin was destined to be an online hit, but we didn’t expect the video to accumulate over five million views on tiktok.”
