Chinese resident walks dog from first-floor balcony using long leash during coronavirus lockdown
A resident walked her dog from the first-floor balcony with a rope made from bedsheets during a lockdown in northern China.
Video filmed in the city of Harbin in Heilongjiang Province on November 1, shows a dog tied by a long leash being lowered down to the ground outside a residential building from a balcony.
After 'walking' the dog, the owner then lifted it up to take it back into the flat.
According to the dog's owner Ms Liu, the dog can only relieve itself outdoors but her community was in a coronavirus lockdown. So she came up with the idea to walk it from her balcony.
