Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a loose tyre knocking an elderly woman off her feet.

In the footage, captured on a security camera in Guangxi earlier this month, the tyre can be seen speeding towards a group of people at a bus stop, before knocking the woman to the ground.

According to local new reports, the tyre fell off a passing lorry.

The woman, in her eighties, survived the fall with slight injuries.
