A group of Indian tourists were rescued in a dramatic operation after they got trapped by a flooding river.

Heavy rainfall had caused the creek in the Javathu hills to turn into a wild torrent and the footage filmed on November 5 shows the rescue team forming a human chain along a rope through the water.

The tourists got saved one by one but it was a tense and dangerous operation.

A group of tourists went to a Cascade in Javathu hills. Suddenly heavy rains lashed the forest area and it resulted in the flooding near the cascade. The exit route was blocked due to the flooding. And around 30 tourists were strangled in the cascade.

They called rescue team for help. They arrived the spot and they tied ropes and held with themselves and formed a human bridge to save the tourists.

They were asked to hold the rescue team and cross one by one. One tourist slipped with the rescuer but luckily they both were lifted away from water.
