A giant 3D cat on a billboard that amused locals in Tokyo, Japan is back – this time for a Roomba advertisement.

Footage shows the adorable calico standing on a shelf before a Roomba appears behind it. The curious kitty paws at the machine as it glides across the virtual floor, vacuuming the cat’s fallen fur.

The clip can be seen in 4K image quality, displayed on a building owned by Cross Shinjuku Vision just outside the Shinjuku train station, the busiest train station in the world.

The collaboration ad, which will run from November 2 to December 31, comes during the autumn shedding season, when pets lose dry hairs for a warmer winter coat.

Owners of the building rolled out the high-tech ad space earlier this year. It features a screen that covers an area of 154.7 square metres with the latest 4K image quality towering above the building owned by Cross Shinjuku Vision at Shinjuku train station, the busiest train station in the world.
