Heavy snow blankets vehicles and roads as strongest blizzard ever hits north Chinese city
The strongest blizzard since local records began struck a city in northern China.
Video filmed in the city of Tongliao in Inner Mongolia on November 8 shows heavy snow covering the vehicles and roads.
The city has issued a red warning signal (the strongest level) for the blizzard for three times.
Most primary schools, middle schools, kindergartens and Tongliao Airport have been closed. While G45, G2511, G25 and other highways are in temporary traffic control.
According to reports, the blizzard in Tongliao City is the strongest ever recorded.
