Despite toxic foam populating the Yamuna River in New Delhi, these devotee women chose to take a dip in the water on November 10 considered holy in the Hindu faith.

The hazardous foam seen floating on the Yamuna river was caused due to increased ammonia levels and high phosphate content, a result of industrial pollutant discharge into the river.
